How your reading is calculated

Every Nakshatra reading starts with real astronomy, not guesswork. From your exact date, time and place of birth, we compute the true positions of the Sun, Moon and planets using the same sidereal (nirayana) system used in classical Vedic astrology.

• Sidereal positions: planetary longitudes computed from established astronomical algorithms, the same maths used by observatories.
• Lahiri Ayanamsa: the standard ayanamsa adopted by the Government of India for the national calendar, so your rashi and nakshatra match official panchang.
• Your Moon sign and Nakshatra: the foundation of Vedic prediction, found from the Moon's exact position at birth.
• Vimshottari Dasha: your life's planetary periods, calculated from your birth Nakshatra, mapping the timing of each chapter.
• Lagna (Ascendant): the rising sign that sets the layout of your entire chart.

From ancient rules to your report

A traditional astrologer applies thousands of classical rules from texts like the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra to interpret a chart.
